PAINT WARRANTY

We offer a 30-Day Limited Warranty against defective paint and fading to the original retail purchaser.

Magnus Paint, 30 Day Limited Warranty DOES NOT cover:

  • Normal wear and tear – Damage from abuse, neglect, misuse, or accident – Improper assembly and/or follow-up maintenance – Damage from stunt riding, jumping, acrobatics, or similar activities or any activity that is not consistent with the intended use of the bicycle.
  • All warranties are void if the Bicycle is used for any purpose other than the reasonable intended use of the Bicycle. Additionally, this warranty does not cover damage associated with commercial use.

 

BATTERY WARRANTY

Remember to always charge your battery every 2-3 weeks when not in use. Failure to charge the battery regularly voids Magnus’s battery warranty.

Magnus offers a 1-year warranty against manufacturer defects, but if a battery does not recharge because the battery was not charged regularly and went dead overtime – it will not be able to recharge. You will need to send the battery to Magnus for replacement. Customers can either drop off or ship the battery back at customer’s expense. There is no repair cost or exchange cost to fix or exchange the battery within the first 30 days should Magnus determine the malfunction is due to manufacturer defect. After 30 days, all warranty related labor charges will be at the standard Magnus rate. If Customer fails to charge battery for an extended period of time and the battery cannot be awakened from “sleep mode,” Customer is responsible for the cost to replace the battery. The cost for an exchange is Rs. 20,000 for a standard battery and Rs. 40,000 for an upgraded battery. Customer will receive a new battery and Magnus will retain the old battery. Customers will incur the shipping cost to do a battery exchange. After 1 year, Customer must pay the full retail price of a new standard or upgraded battery.

Water damage is not covered under the battery warranty.

Use a regular wall outlet to charge your battery. Do not use any other type of outlet, such as an RV outlet or a converter or an inverter, or any other charger not recommended by Magnus.

Failure to comply with these instructions could lead to catastrophic consequences, including but not limited to battery malfunction, sparking, explosion or a battery fire. Magnus is not responsible or liable for any damage caused by battery misuse and/or charging the battery in any other manner than per Magnus instructions.

MOTOR WARRANTY

We offer a 1 year warranty against manufacturer defect, but if it’s because the motor was damaged from abuse, neglect, misuse, or accident, you will either need a new motor or send back to us for repair. Customers can either drop off or ship the motor back at their expense for repair. There is no repair cost or exchange cost to fix or exchange the motor within the first 30 days if it was due to manufacturer defect. After 30 days, each motor repair will incur a labor charge, which varies dependent on the repair type. If you would rather exchange the motor instead of getting it repaired, the cost to do an exchange is Rs. 20,000. You will receive a new motor and we will retain the old motor. Customers will incur the shipping cost to do a motor exchange. After 1 years, you will need to pay the full retail price of a new motor. Please contact our Customer Support team for information regarding our motor warranty.

  • Damage to bike and/or bike components due to abuse, neglect, misuse, or accident.

 

BIKE SERVICE & REPAIR POLICY

  • Repairs are by appointment only at the Magnus factory. Please call the customer service team at 92-327-7000-373 to schedule your appointment. Repairs are done Monday – Saturday from 10am – 6pm. Appointments are for drop off time. There is a standard 24 – 72 hours turnaround time for completion unless otherwise stated. Cost is Rs. 2000/hour for any service (This does not include parts).
  • Factory walk-ins are welcome for small repairs such as an inner tube or tire change or repair. This is on a first come, first serve basis and wait periods and turnaround times may vary.
  • Appointments always have a first priority for completion.
  • Walk-ins are always welcome at both showroom locations small repairs/issues as well. Please call ahead for estimated showroom turnaround time frames.
  • Charges for parts and labor must be paid and complete before picking up your bike.
  • Warrantied items or claims must be submitted at the time of your appointment.
  • Items covered under warranty are parts for the Battery (1 year), Motor (1 year), Frame (5 years), Paint (30 days).
  • Electrical components, bike parts, brakes, & labor are NOT COVERED under warranty.
  • Minimum Rs. 1000 charge for 30 mins. for all service.

 

RETURN POLICY

We are not satisfied unless you are completely satisfied. We ask that you give our E-bikes a few rides before coming to this conclusion. We believe that we have produced a high quality product that you will love. Should you decide your bike is not for you, please contact our team within 30 days to make arrangements.

*All models will incur a 50% restocking fee.

The ebike must have less than fifty (50) kilometers on the odometer, be free of any wear and tear, dirt, dust, fragrance, or any other signs of use and must be in the same packaging and condition that you receive it and must include all items that were inside the box (charger, keys, alarm fobs, etc.). Simply repack the E-bike with the original shipping material and box.

All refunds will be processed after item has been received and inspected. (Please note that any damages incurred to a returned bike will be deducted from the refund amount) A net value will be evaluated, and a refund will be issued within 5-7 business days.

All cancelled orders will be processed within 5-7 business days from receipt of notice of cancellation.
